(a) No owner or occupant of abutting lands shall fail to keep the sidewalks, curbs or gutters in repair and free from snow, ice or any nuisance. (ORC 723.011)
(b) The owner and also the occupant of each parcel of real estate in the municipality abutting upon any sidewalk shall keep the sidewalk abutting his premises free and clear of snow and ice, and remove all snow and ice accumulated thereon within a reasonable time, which will ordinarily not exceed twelve hours, after the abatement of any storm during which the snow and ice may have accumulated.
(c) Whoever violates this section is guilty of a minor misdemeanor.
