As used in this chapter, a
SUBDIVISION is the division within the jurisdiction of the City Plan Commission of a lot, tract or parcel of land into two or more lots or other divisions of land, for the purpose, whether immediate or future, of transfer of ownership or building development. A division of land for agricultural purposes, in parcels of more than ten acres, not involving any new street or easement of access is not a SUBDIVISION.
