§ 155.074 DISCONTINUANCE OF NON-CONFORMING STREET GRAPHICS.
   (A)   Any street graphic which is non-conforming on the date of the enactment of this chapter, because such graphic is prohibited by or in violation of any of the following section(s) shall either be altered or removed to bring such street graphic into compliance with such section(s) within the time period indicated in the ordinance codified herein.
   (B)   Existing free-standing and flush-mounted graphics not extending more than 30 feet above the ground or pavement shall be exempt from this section provided they meet all the other requirements of this chapter.
   (C)   Existing billboards and other off-premises advertising graphics located in the C-1 and C-2 Zoning District (excluding the downtown “area of special control”) shall be exempt from this section; provided, they meet all the other requirements of this chapter.
   (D)   Any street graphic previously constructed in compliance with existing regulations which becomes non-conforming because of any amendment to this chapter shall be removed, altered or replaced so as to conform with the provisions of this chapter within five years after the effective date of the amendment.
