(A) Gas, oil and solid fuel devices or any part thereof shall not be enclosed, covered up or used until after such system has been inspected and approved by the Gas, Oil, and Solid Fuel Burner Inspector. It is the responsibility of the holder of the gas, oil and solid fuel permit to arrange for such inspection with the Gas, Oil and Solid Fuel Burner Inspector at least 24 hours before such inspection is to be made.
(B) Equipment found not to be in compliance with the Gas, Oil and Solid Fuel Burner Code or otherwise defective or unsafe shall not be approved. The use of such a device that has not complied with the provisions of this Code, or found to be defective or unsafe, shall not be approved until such time as such system is brought into compliance with said Code.
(C) If any equipment requires a “gas connection” or “turning on of gas”, the Inspector shall duly- authorize same. The Inspector is hereby authorized to terminate operation of any gas, oil or solid fuel burning equipment installed without the permit required by this Code.
