§ 32.001 DEPARTMENT ESTABLISHED.
   There is hereby established an executive department of the city, which shall be known as the Department of Public Works and shall embrace the Board of Local Improvements, the City Engineer, the Superintendent of Streets and Cemetery and such assistants and employees as the City Council may provide.
