(A) Any person who engaged in the business of plumbing as a journeyman plumber, plumbing contractor or employing plumber in the city without having obtained a license from the state as provided herein and/or any such person who has not registered as provided in this chapter shall, upon conviction thereof, be fined not less than $150, nor more than $1,000 for each time that he or she shall engage in the business of plumbing in violation of this chapter.
(B) Any person who has not obtained the permit required by this chapter prior to the commencement of any plumbing work shall, upon the conviction, be fined not less than $150, nor more than $1,000, for each offense.
(C) Any person who fails to obey any order of the Plumbing Inspector to correct or remove a nuisance existing by reason of unsanitary plumbing or plumbing installed in violation of this chapter shall, upon conviction of such offense, be fined not less than $50, nor more than $1,000 for each offense. Each day that such nuisance shall continue to exist after the expiration of the time fixed by the Inspector for the removal thereof constitutes a separate offense. The court shall also order as part of the judgment that defendant comply with all applicable codes and ordinances relating to the property which is the subject of the violation and to abate the nuisance.
