The term
BUILDING CONTRACTOR means any person, partnership, firm or corporation who engages in the business of construction, alteration, addition, repair, removal, demolition or maintenance of buildings or structures, but shall not include “electrical contractor” or “plumbing contractor” or “gas, oil and solid fuel burner contractor”, as defined by the ordinances of the city.
