§ 91.17 APPOINTMENT.
   The Superintendent of Cemeteries and his or her subordinates shall be appointed by the Mayor by and with the advice and consent of the City Council at the first regular meeting of the Council in May of each year. They shall constitute the regular Cemetery Department of the city and shall take the oath of office described by law.
