§ 73.26 LIMITED LOAD STREETS.
   (A)   (1)   It shall be unlawful to operate any vehicle on any street in the city when the gross weight on the surface of the road through any axle of such vehicle exceeds 16,000 pounds.
      (2)   Where lower limits are imposed in Ch. 75, Schd. VI, of this code of ordinances and signs indicating such limitations are posted, it shall be unlawful to operate a vehicle in excess of such weight on such street, except for the purpose of making delivery or picking up a load, in which case such vehicle may be driven on such street for not more than the minimum distance necessary for the purpose.
   (B)   It shall be unlawful for person, firm or corporation to park any motor vehicle, including a tractor or trailer having a gross weight of more than four tons or having the width of more than seven feet upon, along or over any street or thoroughfare within the city, except for any motor vehicle in the process of loading or unloading, and except for any municipal vehicle owned or used by the city in the performance of municipal functions.
