§ 70.047 PLACEMENT OF TRAFFIC-CONTROL DEVICES.
   When official traffic-control devices are required to be erected by this traffic code or by law, it shall be the duty of the Chief of Police and the Superintendent of Streets to cause suitable devices to be erected in such areas, if not erected by State Department of Public Works and Buildings.
