§ 30.15 COUNCIL.
   The City Council shall consist of the Mayor and 16 Aldermen. Two Aldermen are to be elected from each ward. In case any vacancy shall occur in the Office of Alderman by death, resignation, removal or any other cause, such vacancy shall be filled in accordance with statutes in effect at that time.
