Effective May 16, 2017, the records of Belleville Township, a township organization discontinued under this subchapter, shall be deposited in the City Clerk's office pursuant to Section 28-20 of the Illinois Township Code (60 ILCS 1/28-20). Thereafter, the City Clerk, in conjunction with the Director of Human Resources and Community Development, shall maintain all records concerning the General and Community Assistance Department.
