(A) Each member of the police force shall be uniformed as prescribed by the Mayor and Chief of Police. Officers shall furnish their own revolver and other articles needed in the service.
(B) Each member of the police force shall appear in uniform at all times while on duty. He or she shall be considered on duty whenever he or she appears upon the streets or other public places of the city.
