195.02 DEFINITIONS.
   As used in this chapter:
   (a)    "Hotel" means every establishment kept, used, maintained or held out to the general public to be placed where accommodations are offered to transient guests where such place has five or more rooms used for the accommodation of such guests, whether such rooms are in one or several structures.
   (b)    "Accommodation" means a room or rooms furnished by a vendor to a transient guest for sleeping, occupancy or lodging.
   (c)    "Transient guest" means an individual who is furnished an accommodation for compensation by a vendor for a period not exceeding thirty consecutive days.
   (d)    "Vendor" means all owners or operators of a hotel whether such owners or operators are individuals or business entities, and who furnishes the lodging.
   (e)    "Notice" means communication submitted in writing and personally delivered or forwarded by mail to the last known address of anyone affected by the provisions of this chapter.
   The singular number shall include the plural, and the masculine gender shall include the feminine and neuter. (Ord. 10-64. Passed 12-28-10.)
