The City Engineer and/or City Service-Safety Director and/or his or her designated representative shall inspect all buildings at the following times:
(a) Upon the installation of footers, foundations, footing drains, building sewers and waterproofing;
(b) During the framing of the superstructure;
(c) Upon completion of the roughing-in of the plumbing, electrical wiring, gas piping, heating ducts or piping, or other similar service installations regulated by this Building Code;
(d) Before closing all structural elements;
(e) Upon final completion of the structure before occupancy; and
(f) At such other times as he deems necessary.
At least two working days of advance written notice must be given to the City Engineer and/or City Service-Safety Director and/or his or her designated representative by contractors when the above inspections are to be made, and inspections will normally be made within two working days from the time such notice is received.
