(a) "Director" means the Service-Safety Director of the City.
(b) "Housing Unit" means a place of abode for a family, person or persons living separately or together as an independent family and referring to both single and multifamily residential units.
(c) "Recycling bin" means a storage unit provided by the City in which recyclable materials is to be placed and commingled by the occupants of each housing unit, unless served by other storage units. Such bin must be approved by the Director.
(d) "Recycling Contractor" means the contractor authorized by the City for the collection, transporting and delivery to market of recyclable materials.
(e) "Recyclable materials" means non-ferrous (aluminum) cans, newspapers, clear; green and brown glass bottles, and PET (1) and HDPE (2) plastic containers.
