(a) The walking track at Blue Jacket Park, shall only be used for pedestrian foot traffic and persons using the same for walking and/or jogging exercise, and/or other specific activities that may be approved by a proper action of the Bellefontaine Joint Recreation Park Board, and no person shall operate or use a bicycle, scooter, tricycle, skateboard or any motorized vehicle on said walking track; except that for maintenance reasons or other necessity, a person may use a motorized vehicle on said walking track if they have obtained the written permission therefore from the City Service-Safety Director or the Park and Recreation Superintendent or the Athletic Director of the Bellefontaine City Schools.
(b) Whoever violates any provision of this section is guilty of a minor misdemeanor on a first offense; and a fourth degree misdemeanor upon each subsequent offense and/or violation thereof.
