These regulations shall be known and cited as CITY OF BELGRADE FLOODPLAIN REGULATIONS. These regulations are promulgated under the authority of the laws of the state of Montana and relevant federal law. Authorization for these regulations is contained in the floodplain and floodway management act, title 76, chapter 5 Montana Code Annotated. Flood hazard areas specifically adopted herein have been delineated and designated by the DNRC or FEMA pursuant to 76-5-201 Montana Code Annotated. Other authority for municipalities to adopt floodplain hazard mitigation regulations appears in section 76-5-101 through 406 Montana Code Annotated. (Ord. 2011-5, 10-17-2011)
