9-1-4-6: METER CUTOFFS AND BYPASS:

All meters installed shall be provided with a cutoff or valve on each side of the meter so that any meter may be removed for the purpose of testing and a bypass placed in the service pipe for the purpose of supplying the consumer with water during the testing of said meter. (Ord. 90-4, 11-19-1990)
