No meters shall be placed in service or recognized as standard meters unless approved by the department as prescribed by the department. No person shall place any other meter on any service pipe except the standard meters as herein prescribed and of a size as prescribed in each case by the department. The department shall have the right to remove meters not approved by the department and replace with approved meters with the cost charged to the user. (Ord. 90-4, 11-19-1990)
