A. Authority To Designate: The chief of police and the city manager are hereby authorized to determine and designate portions of public streets, alleys and roadways where the stopping, standing, or parking of vehicles would create a hazardous condition, could cause delay to traffic, or as deemed appropriate by the chief of police and city manager.
B. Erection Of Signs: Such places shall be indicated by the erection of signs indicating no parking, and/or by causing the adjacent curb to be painted red.
C. Prohibited: When official signs are erected and/or red curbs are painted at hazardous or congested places as authorized herein, no person shall stop, stand, or park a vehicle in any such designated place.
