(A) Any person violating any provision of this chapter for which no specific penalty is prescribed shall be subject to § 10.99(A) of this code of ordinances.
(B) (1) The failure to pay a fine levied pursuant to this chapter shall constitute a separate offense against the city, subject to a fine as provided in § 10.99(A) of this code of ordinances.
(2) If a fine is not paid by the defendant, then the fine may be collected by committing the defendant to the city’s jail, where he or she shall remain until his or her fine and any costs assessed against him or her are discharged, either by payment, or by confinement in jail, or by working in accordance with other provisions of this code or state law.
