All applications for a hotel, motel or any place of lodging license submitted by an applicant to the Clerk-Treasurer under this chapter shall be accompanied by an annual fee of $100, $20 of which represents a non-refundable application fee for the purpose of defraying the cost of reviewing the application and ensuring an applicant’s compliance with the code, and $80 of which represents the hotel license fee. Fees collected by the Clerk-Treasurer shall be deposited in the General Fund.
