§ 105.04 PUBLIC TREE PRESERVATION AND MAINTENANCE.
   (A)   The Department of Public Works shall have the right to plant, prune, maintain and remove flora within the lines of all streets, alleys, avenues, right-of-ways and public lands as may be necessary to ensure public safety, promote quality of life for all residents and to preserve or enhance the symmetry and beauty of all public lands.
   (B)   The Greenscape Commission may remove, cause or order to be removed any tree or part thereof which is in an unsafe condition or which by reason of its nature is injurious to sewers, overhead utility lines, gas lines, water lines or which is infected with any injurious fungus, insect or other pest.
