§ 153.01 DISPLAY SPECIFICATIONS.
   The house or building number assigned to each house or building within the city shall be prominently displayed on the house or building at a readily visible location in front of the house or building. The numbers shall be of a color that contrasts with the background on which they are displayed. Numbers shall not be spray painted on any buildings or houses. Such numbers shall be a minimum height of three inches if placed less than 75 feet from the street curb line. If the house or building number is placed more than 75 feet from the street curb line, the house or building number shall be at least four inches in height. The house or building number shall also be displayed in a location readily visible from the alley or drive on garages and outbuildings with alley access, homes which are setback to the alley, and the rear of the businesses which have alley or rear drive access. The numbers shall be no less than three inches in height, not less than six feet from the floor of the garage, outbuilding, home or business and shall be black or be of a color that contrasts with the background on which they are displayed. Numbers shall not be spray painted on any buildings or homes.
