The inspector status requirement is met by a person who is currently employed by the city in a position in which he makes or supervises the making of inspections to determine compliance with building standards and procedures relating to heating and cooling work provisions of this subchapter. Such person shall not use a license as a heating and cooling contractor other than with respect to his employment by the city. Licensure under this section terminates by operation of law when the person no longer is employed by the city and does not meet the requirements of §§ 150.158 and 150.159.
