For the purpose of this chapter, the following definitions shall apply unless the context clearly indicates or requires a different meaning.
“GARAGE SALES.” All sales entitled “GARAGE SALE,” “lawn sale”, “rummage sale”, “flea market sale”, or any similar casual sale of tangible personal property which is advertised by any means whereby the public at large is or can be made aware of the sale.
“GOODS.” Any “GOODS”, accumulated over time in a residential setting, or other “personal property” capable of being the object of a sale regulated hereunder.
“PEDDLER.” Any person who offers merchandise for sale along the street or door to door.
“PERSON.” Individuals, partnerships, voluntary associations, and corporations.
“SECONDHAND DEALER.” Any person who keeps a place of business for the purchase or sale of used clothing, furniture, goods, or merchandise of any kind.
