§ 111.17 CITY REMOVAL OF SIGNBOARDS.
   In the event any ground signboard is erected, constructed, or maintained in violation of any of the provisions of this chapter, the Board of Public Works and Safety shall notify the owner or lessee thereof to alter or change the sign to comply with this chapter and to secure the necessary permit therefor or remove the sign. If the order is not complied with in ten days, the Board of Public Works may remove the ground signboard at the expense of the lessee or the owner of the real estate upon which the ground signboard is located.
