Fire alarm systems required by the applicable rules of the Fire Prevention and Building Safety Commission or this chapter shall be monitored as set forth in the applicable rules of the Fire Prevention and Building Safety Commission and the 1996 edition of N.F.P.A. Standard No. 72 or the most current edition of the standard by an approved central proprietary or remote station service or a local alarm which gives audible and visual signals as a constantly attended location.
