A copy of the inspection report with violations and safety recommendations shall be served upon the owner, operator, occupant or person responsible for the building property. Service of such report shall be by personal service, or by affixing a copy thereof in a conspicuous place at the entrance of said building or premises and or by mailing a copy thereof to the owner or occupant by certified mail to the owner's or occupant's last known address pursuant to IC4-21.5-3. Such report shall include a right to appeal form. The owners and or occupant shall be provided with information of their right to appeal any fire code violation noted during the course of an inspection.
