In the event that at any time during the period of this agreement, the city shall elect to alter or change the grade of any streets, alleys, or other public ways, the company, upon reasonable written notice by the city shall remove, release, and relocate its poles, wires, cables and underground conduits, manholes, and other fixtures at its own expense. Should the poles moved be the property of the holder of any public franchise within the city, the company shall move its cables and appurtenances attached to the poles at its own expense, with the public franchise holder moving the poles at its own expense.
