§ 36.16 PROVISION OF AUXILIARY AIDS.
   The city shall, at the request of, and in consultation with a qualified handicapped individual, provide appropriate auxiliary aids to individuals with impaired sensory, manual, or speaking skills, where necessary to prevent a qualified handicapped individual from being denied the benefits of, excluded from participation in, or subjected to discrimination under a program or activity. Such auxiliary aids may include brailled or taped material, the provision of qualified sign language interpreters, the provision of telecommunication devices, captioned films, videotapes, televised information, or other media.
