(A) Unless otherwise provided in this title, any person found to be violating any provisions of this title shall be served by the village with written notice stating the nature of the violation and providing a reasonable time limit for the satisfactory correction thereof. The offender shall, within the period of time stated in such notice, permanently cease all violations.
(B) Any person who shall continue any violation beyond the time limit provided for in subsection (A) of this section shall be guilty of a misdemeanor, and on conviction thereof shall be fined in the amount not less than twenty five dollars ($25.00) and not to exceed seven hundred fifty dollars ($750.00) for each violation. Each day in which any such violation shall continue shall be deemed as a separate offense.
(C) Additionally, any person violating any of the provisions of this chapter shall become liable to the village for any expense, loss, or damage occasioned by the village by reason of such violation, including reasonable attorney fees and costs incurred in the enforcement of this title.
(D) The village reserves the right to discontinue sewer and/or water service to any property found in violation of this title until such time as the violation is rectified and any charges or penalties are paid in full. (Ord. 1053, 11-14-2006)
