9-12-4: PARKING, VILLAGE VEHICLE STICKER AND OTHER VIOLATIONS:
Any person accused of a violation of any ordinance pertaining to illegal parking, failure to exhibit a vehicle sticker in a designated area, or any other section of this code enumerated or referenced hereinafter may settle and compromise the claim against him or her for such illegal parking or other below enumerated violation by paying to the village the sums in accordance with the following schedule:
   (A)   Obstructing alley, sidewalk or driveway    $25.00
   (B)   Parking in a "No Parking" zone    25.00
   (C)   Parking on wrong side of the road    25.00
   (D)   Double parking    25.00
   (E)   Parking within fifteen feet (15') of hydrant    25.00
   (F)   No vehicle sticker    35.00
   (G)   Wrong angle parking    25.00
   (H)   Snow removal - causing obstruction    25.00
   (I)   Street cleaning - causing obstruction    25.00
   (J)   Village of Beecher zoning ordinance (Ord. 648)    25.00
   (K)   Village of Beecher property maintenance code    25.00
   (L)   Village of Beecher building code    25.00
provided, however, in cases where tickets are issued on the first day of the month through and including the fifteenth day of the month, the above fine shall apply only if said fine is paid to and received by the village before the twenty fifth day of the same month wherein the ticket was issued. For tickets issued on the sixteenth day of the month through and including the last day of that same month, the above fine shall apply only if said fine is paid to and received by the village before the tenth day of the month thereafter. The members of the police department are hereby authorized to refrain from prosecuting for the alleged offense(s) involved if the fines stated above are paid within the time parameters stated above. Provided, further, that in the event that any payments are tendered after the time periods specified above, then the said fines shall increase to the amount of fifty dollars ($50.00). In the event the village elects to file proceedings in the circuit court for any of the above violations, then all fines assessed in said court shall not be less than seventy five dollars ($75.00), nor more than seven hundred fifty dollars ($750.00) as may be ordered by the court.
Any payments made to the village prior to the institution of court proceedings may be made to the village clerk at the village hall and a receipt shall be issued for the sums received and said sums shall promptly be remitted to the village treasurer for deposit to an appropriate fund.
This section shall not apply to any violations not scheduled in the above payment provisions. (Ord. 887, 2-12-2001)
