(A) No person, firm, corporation, contractor or individual shall undertake or perform any work on any property within the Village after nine o'clock (9:00) P.M. and before seven o'clock (7:00) A.M. on any day. This provision shall apply to, but not be limited to, any construction, alteration, repair, addition, excavation, landscaping, wrecking, demolition or improvement, to the whole, or any part of any building or structure or appurtenance thereto within the Village. Provided, however, that the above restriction shall not apply to any public or private utility company repairing or maintaining its infrastructure on public rights-of-way or easements nor to any employees or contractors engaged in public health and safety activities at the request of the Village.
(B) Any person who violates this section shall be fined in the sum of not less than twenty five dollars ($25.00) nor more than five hundred dollars ($500.00). Separate violations shall be deemed to have occurred on each date any contractor or person violates this section. (Ord. 1169, 11-11-2012)
