3-3-3: PAWNBROKERS:
   (A)   Records To Be Maintained And Kept Open For Inspection: Every pawnbroker doing business in the village shall keep a record of every article pledged with or to the pawnbroker, and this record shall be open to the inspection of any police officer at any time during normal business hours.
   (B)   Receiving Or Displaying Weapons Prohibited: No pawnbroker shall receive as a pledge or purchase any revolver, pistol, blackjack or sawed off gun. No pawnbroker shall display in his window or shop any such weapons for sale.
   (C)   Pawnbroker Regulation Act: Each pawnbroker shall comply with the regulations of the "pawnbroker regulation act", 205 Illinois Compiled Statutes 510/0.01 et seq., as amended from time to time.
   (D)   Reporting Of Items Believed To Be Stolen Or Lost: It shall be the duty of every pawnbroker to report to the police any article pledged, or which it is attempted to be pledged if there is reason to believe that the article was stolen or that the article was lost and found by the person attempting to pledge it.
