§ 130.16 EXCEPTIONS.
   This subchapter shall not apply to:
   (A)   Persons licensed to hunt in this commonwealth where hunting is permitted within 150 yards of a occupied building;
   (B)   Any law enforcement officers when used in the discharge of their official duties; or
   (C)   Property owners or authorized agents of property owners desiring to rid their property of rodents, vectors and other animal nuisances; provided:
      (1)   In an emergency, shooting may be done without prior approval of the Township Police Department, provided that the shooting is done in a careful, safe, reasonable and prudent manner; and
      (2)   In the event of an ongoing situation, or a situation which is not an emergency, the property owner shall contact the Police Department to establish a plan for shooting to a eradicate the problem, and shall proceed in accordance with the instructions of the Police Department.
