(A) The township shall issue a sewage management permit for individual and community sewage systems only after the township has received, when required, a copy of the BCDH sewage disposal system permit and/or a clean streams permit from PaDEP. At no time can a township sewage management permit be issued without receipt and verification of these outside permits.
(B) The township shall issue a sewage management permit for stream discharge systems and SRLA sewage systems (individual or community) only after the township has received notification from the PaDEP that such a system has been approved and that the appropriate PaDEP permits have been issued. This section applies to new sewage permits and repairs or replacements of existing systems.
