The degree of sewage management required by the provisions of this subchapter is considered reasonable for regulatory purposes. The issuance of permits by the township, its officers or employees, shall not be deemed to relieve the applicant/permitee of responsibility to those adversely affected by the proposed/employed sewage system. Further, the township, through the issuance of a permit, assumes no responsibility to either the applicant/permitee or adjacent property owners affected by the sewage system or for any discharge of sewage.
