(A) (1) Words and phrases when used in this schedule shall have the meaning ascribed to them in the State Motor Vehicle Code, 1976, P.L. 162, at No. 81, as amended.
(2) It shall be unlawful for any person to drive a vehicle, other than a passenger car, on Buck Road (T-376) from the Elephant Road/Buck Road intersection to the intersection of Buck Road with Bedminster Road (S.R. 0113).
(3) The proper authorities of the township are directed to erect the appropriate restriction and informational signs and to do so in conformity with the provisions of the Vehicle Code.
(4) Nothing in this division (A) shall prohibit any person from driving an emergency vehicle on Buck Road, or from driving a truck or other commercial vehicles making local deliveries to or pick-ups from premises located along Buck Road.
(5) Any person who violates any provision of this division (A) shall, upon conviction, be sentenced to pay a fine of $25 and costs.
(B) (1) All trucks, including commercial motor vehicles, semitrailers, tractors, trailers and truck tractors, as defined in the State Motor Vehicle Code are prohibited from operating on the hereinafter stated highways in the township, except for deliveries of mail, parcels, packages and merchandise to those residents living on or adjacent to the named highways.
(2) Those roads where truck traffic is prohibited are: Old Easton Road (T453), between its intersection at Dark Hollow Road (LR09099) and Easton Road (S.R. 611).
(3) Any operator or owner be it an individual, partnership or corporation who shall violate the provisions of this division (B), shall upon conviction thereof in a summary proceeding, be sentenced to pay a fine of not more than $50. Upon default of payment of such fine, such person, members of such partnership or the officers of such corporation shall be liable to imprisonment in the county jail for not more than 30 days.
(C) (1) All trucks, including commercial motor vehicles, semitrailers, tractors, trailers and truck tractors, as defined in the Pennsylvania Motor Vehicle Code, 1976, June 17, P.L. 162, Act No. 81, as amended, 75 Pa.C.S.A. §§ 1 et seq., as now in force or hereby amended are prohibited from operating on Old Easton Road (T.R. 463) as it runs through the Village of Pipersville, namely between its intersection with Dark Hollow Road (S.R. 1013) and its intersection with Easton Road (S.R. 611), except for deliveries of mail, parcels, packages and merchandise to those residents living on or adjacent to the named highway.
(2) Any operator or owner, be it an individual, partnership or corporation who violates any provision of this division (C) shall, upon conviction, be sentenced to pay a fine in the amount of the maximum fine allowed by the Pennsylvania Motor Vehicle Code, 1976, June 17, P.L. 162, Act No. 81, as amended, 75 Pa.C.S.A. §§ 1 et seq.
(3) Nothing in this division (C) shall be construed to apply to township maintenance vehicles, emergency vehicles responding to a call, any vehicle being redirected by an officer of the law or a township-approved detour, or any vehicle avoiding an accident.
(4) The proper authorities of the township are directed to erect official signs establishing the no truck traffic zones as set forth in this division (C), in conformity with the provisions of the Vehicle Code.
