§ 52.41 IMPLEMENTATION OF WATER RESTRICTIONS DURING DROUGHT EMERGENCY.
   Whenever there is a declaration of a drought emergency and throughout the duration of the emergency, the following water conservation measures shall be mandated.
   (A)   All watering of existing lawns is prohibited.
   (B)   Water of newly seeded lawns is restricted as follows.
      (1)   Watering may be done with only one sprinkler (five gallons per minute maximum) at each house, only between the hours of 7:00 p.m. and midnight.
      (2)   Watering of new lawns will not be permitted at any time on Saturdays or Sundays.
   (C)   Washing of automobiles and commercial vehicles is prohibited.
   (D)   The washing of patios, sidewalks, driveways and street is prohibited.
   (E)   Horticultural gardens, shrubbery and other landscaped plants may be watered only with a bucket.
   (F)   Vegetable gardens are not included in the restrictions under division (E) above.
   (G)   The use of groundwater or authority water drawn from the soils of the township and/or the use of authority water for initial annual filling of residential swimming pools is prohibited.
   (H)   Customers of the authority may be subject to water rationing as set forth under the drought contingency and water rationing plan adopted by the authority and as may be amended from time to time.
