Upon the declaration of a drought watch and throughout the duration of the watch, the following voluntary water conservation measures shall be publicized to all residents of the township through local media, the township newsletter and the township website.
(A) Residents shall be asked to run dishwashers and washers only with full loads.
(B) Residents shall be asked to take showers instead of baths.
(C) Residents shall be asked to install saving devices on all showers and toilets, when possible.
(D) Residents shall be requested to repair any leaks which may occur, as rapidly as possible.
(E) Residents shall be requested to limit all unnecessary outside use of water, such as watering of lawns and gardens, washing of cars, sidewalks and porches, filling of swimming pools and other such measures.
