§ 51.069 REPLACEMENT OF CLAY LATERALS.
   (A)   Any private sewer service lateral connected to the system found to be made of clay shall be replaced by a master plumber at the cost and expense of the owner of the property. The replacement of the private sewer service lateral shall be in accordance with the rules, regulations and resolutions of the authority as well as the State Uniform Construction Code as adopted by the township. The replacement of the private sewer service lateral shall occur within 30 days of the property owner being notified by the authority of the requirement to replace the said lateral.
   (B)   In the event the property owner fails to replace the private sewer service lateral as required by division (A) above, the authority shall be authorized to go onto the property and replace the private sewer service lateral and charge the property owner for the cost and expenses incurred by the authority to replace the private sewer service lateral.
   (C)   The agents of the authority or designated employees of the authority shall have access at all reasonable hours of the day to all parts of an user’s property so as to be able to make necessary inspections and observations.
