§ 74.053 ENFORCEMENT; FINE TO BE PAID.
   It shall be the duty of the police officers or other city employees assigned these duties to do the following.
   (A)   Issue citations and attach a copy of the citation to any vehicle which is found to be parked in violation of the provisions of this chapter.
   (B)   The citation shall contain the following information.
      (1)   The license number of the vehicle.
      (2)   The time and date during which the vehicle was parked in violation of this chapter.
      (3)   A brief description of the violation for which the citation has been issued.
      (4)   Instructions to the owner or operator of the vehicle to report to the Police Station in regard to the violation.
      (5)   Any other information as might facilitate the operation of this subchapter.
   (C)   Each owner or operator shall, within five days of the issuance of the citation, pay, as a penalty for and in full satisfaction of the violation, the sum of $5 to the Police Department. However, should more than five days elapse from the issuance of the citation until the payment of the penalty provided for herein, then and in that event, an additional payment of $5 shall be required as a penalty and in full satisfaction of the violation, to the Police Department.
   (D)   The failure of the owner or operator to make the payment within ten days after the issuance of the citation shall render the owner or operator of the vehicle subject to the penalties hereafter provided for violation of the provisions of this chapter.
   (E)   The Chief of Police shall remit all payments made to the Police Department pursuant to this chapter to the Clerk-Treasurer.
