§ 50.44 BOILERS TO HAVE SAFETY VALVES, TANKS.
   (A)   All boilers used for steam heating or furnishing steam for power that are supplied with water from the mains of the waterworks must be supplied with a suitable safety or vacuum valve to prevent danger from collapse or explosion when the water is shut off from the street mains.

   (B)   All boilers using water from the city waterworks to make steam must be supplied with a tank, cistern, or well connected to the boiler with a feed pump, which may be brought into immediate use in case it becomes necessary to shut off the water from the mains supplying the boiler.
