(A) Respirators will be cleaned, inspected, and maintained in accordance with 29 CFR 1910.134 (h). Although it is the responsibility of the individual respirator user to clean, inspect, and maintain his or her respirator, the employee's immediate supervisor will develop a plan to assure that the appropriate tasks are performed as required.
(B) Appendix C (as attached in Ord. 38-2005, passed 10-11-05) contains the cleaning procedures specified in Appendix B-2 of 29 CFR 1910.134.
