(A) Employees. All city employees that hold a valid CDL are responsible for abiding by this procedure as a condition of their employment.
(B) Management officials and supervisors. All supervisors and city officials are responsible for being alert to employee conduct that raises a reasonable suspicion that an employee is using or is under the influence of alcohol or controlled substances while on duty or otherwise performing city business.
(C) This policy is not intended nor should it be construed as a contract between the city and the employee. This policy may change at any time at the sole discretion of the city and/or to comply with changes in federal DOT regulations.
