(A) Officials and employees of the City of Bedford, who, in the course of conducting official city business, operate their own motor vehicles outside the City of Bedford to another location, shall be allowed, for the mileage traveled by the most expeditious route in going to and returning from said location, a sum for mileage at a rate equal to the current rate allowed by the Internal Revenue Service and paid to employees.
(B) In addition to the mileage rate set forth hereinabove, said officials and employees shall be entitled to reimbursement for toll charges and parking fees incurred in connection with their official travel outside the City of Bedford, Indiana.
