§ 94.09 PROHIBITED COLLECTIONS.
   (A)   Non-city limits solid waste. Solid waste from sources outside the city limits shall not be collected. Such outside waste shall not be placed at any customers residence anywhere within the city limits or any other authorized place of collection serviced by the Sanitation Department. A customer that violates or permits the violation of this section of this policy may forfeit the privilege of collection services by the Sanitation Department, at the determination of the City Council.
   (B)   Unacceptable waste. The City Sanitation Department is unable to pick up waste that cannot be dumped at the Lawrence County Transfer Station without charge. Items, subject to change, include dry wall, plaster, concrete, wood, paneling, siding, insulation, roofing, windows, guttering, bricks, doors, and tires. These items will be accepted at the Lawrence County Transfer Station if residents take them there directly and pay the applicable tipping fees.
   (C)   Compliance with state regulations. Notwithstanding the requirements set out herein, the manner of containing, storing, and disposing of solid waste shall be in compliance with all federal and state statutes, and rules and regulations of the Indiana Department of Health.
