149.02 APPOINTMENT OF DIRECTOR; DUTIES.

   The Director of the Disaster Services Agency shall be appointed by the Mayor, subject to the confirmation of Council, and shall serve at the pleasure of the Mayor. The Director shall coordinate the organization, administration, planning and operations of all local agencies for civil defense and disaster services subject to the direction and control of the Mayor as provided by statute.
